Before that, I thought medicine was just about memorization — long essays, dry lectures, and endless lists. My mind didn’t work like that. I think like an engineer, not a parrot. I see systems, structures, and mechanics — like the heart, the lungs, the body as an internal combustion engine. So the early years of medical school were hard. Nothing clicked.
But when I opened a USMLE Qbank, everything changed. For the first time, medicine felt like a mystery worth solving — a puzzle where every piece mattered. To answer well, I had to understand deeply and connect everything: physiology with pharmacology, biochemistry with pathology, basics with the clinical. The more I integrated, the clearer the picture became. That’s when I fell in love with medicine.
I started learning with this equation:
Deep Understanding + Integration = Mastery.</br>But I couldn’t find a single book that helped me learn this way. Summaries were quick but shallow. Big textbooks were rich but chaotic. So I built my own notes — combining the best of both worlds. First by hand, then digitally. And eventually, I decided to share them with others.
But there’s another side of me — one that’s just as important.</br>I’ve always been drawn to art, design, colors, sound — to creativity in all its forms. Outside medicine, I taught myself skills like video editing, graphic design, photography, and storytelling. And as I studied, I found ways to merge those passions with my medical learning.
I made educational videos that didn’t just teach — they moved people. I used sound design, narrative flow, visual effects — like in my HIV intro video — to turn complex topics into emotional journeys. I wanted medicine to feel alive.
